This is a review of the Australian Breakfast ordered from Bretto's Fine Deli and Coffee Shop on Sunday 25th February 2018 at around 10:24am.
For the Australian breakfast you are allowed to choose between steak and Aussie sausage, and as you can see below, I chose the steak, and scrambled egg as my egg choice:
The breakfast menu was as shown in the pictures below
The cafe was not very busy at the time of entering, with one other table occupied. There was one lady serving there, in fact she was the only person working in the cafe that I could see. After taking our orders, my coffee arrived after 13 minutes, then the breakfast another 15 minutes later. The waitress was polite and courteous, despite being very busy.
The breakfast itself consisted of a white bread roll cut in half, beef steak, scrambled egg, a small quantity of baked beans, some potato crisps (a little quirky for a breakfast!) , some gravy, and half a fried tomato. The presentation was good, being served on a square white plate.
The quantity was very reasonable, not jumbo, but easily enough for me. The steak was much better than I expected, being quite thick, tender and well seasoned. Overall a good breakfast, especially for PHP 265, considering the steak.
The brewed coffee served with the meal was hot (as I like it), of a good strength, and of an average quantity. The coffee was a touch bitter, until I added a small quantity of sugar, so probably was not top quality, but overall I was happy with it.
