SM Prestige Card

This is a card issued by SM Supermarkets when your spending goes over a certain minimum (currently 150,000 PHP per year). It is more of a Perks Card than a discount card, but you do get a booklet containing some useful discounts when you get your card.

table tennis

Hi, just an update on Smash Power Table Tennis.

They play on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays (and sometimes on other days) at around 4 pm at Smash Power Badminton Center,. They have an excellent and very friendly coach in Ray Reg, for anyone who wants to improve (don't we all!). I recommend it to all table tennis players in the Angeles area. Its a pity they don't have somewhere like this also in the middle of Angeles City.

smoke filled room

A recent debate on another Angeles Facebook group, about passive smoking in Angeles City bars prompted me to find out the real facts about this issue. In particular, i wanted to find out the following:

1) What is the equivalent amount of cigarettes you would have to smoke to get the same amount of negative health effects as exposure to pollution in an average day in Angeles City, not including passive smoking.

table tennis

This article describes the options for playing table tennis in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Currently, as far as I am aware there are almost ZERO options for playing table tennis in Angeles City, but some just outside.

I tried to join a Facebook group "Pampanga Table Tennis Club" but they have ignored my requests, so that appears to be a non-starter

broadband

This article aims to provide you with details of broadband internet options available to you in Angeles City, Pampanga. I will update the article as and when I get more information or if the situation changes, so look out for updates.

At the current time, the options appear to be limited to three cable internet providers, namely Comclark, and Globe at Home, and PLDT. All three offer cable internet and TV packages.

Walking Street

This article aims to describe the options for bar hopping in Angeles City. As usual, any updates, comments and corrections are welcome. With your help we can hopefully make this article useful and informative.

The two main areas for bars in Angeles City are commonly known as Perimeter Road and Fields Avenue/Walking Street. The Perimeter Road bars tend to be more of a place for the afternoon,  although some do stay open into the evening. The prices are generally cheaper here than in Fields.

grab trike

This article shows you how to set up and use Grab Trike using your Android smart phone. I would expect the process to be pretty similar on other operating systems, but this article specifically covers Android phones.

First, go to the Google Play Store and search for grab taxi. Install, following any instructions. If it asks you if you want Grab Trike, say yes.

Once the Grab app has been installed, you are now ready to use it. Make sure Location Service is turned on, along with WiFi (or data service), then select the app.

The breakfast menu was as shown in the pictures below
